REAL GREATNESS

What do you call greatness? What is the inclination of your heart in regard to the subject and definition of greatness? This I prefer you think along the line of ministry  and serving in the kingdom. Why ministry?It’s the only fertile ground where real greatness is yielded. I consider serving in vineyard the perfect way to achieve greatness that is the desire of every man. To me; This is not a topical issue. It only deemed so when our hearts are rotting with ungodly cravings of greatness. See how brother ‘James’ puts it; James 4:1 What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? Only when fleshly born desires confront our mind and hearts that this becomes a Topical Issue. Jesus put it more explicitly… Mark 10:43 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,,,.

Even so, I find this interesting when I think about giving-up greatness that can be seen with the naked eyes for the Lord to be sanctified in the hearts of men. This is exactly what the ever lived humble man on the face of the earth… Moses!! When I was reading the book of Numbers, chapter 14 caught my attention. God gave Moses an offer to make him great. Numbers 14: 13 The Lord said to Moses, “How long will these people treat me with contempt? How long will they refuse to believe in me, in spite of all the signs I have performed among them? ¹² I will strike them down with a plague and destroy them,.

….. but I will make you into a nation greater and stronger than they.”The greatness was just a step behind,then in a blink of an eye; and he and his brother Aaron would be made into a great nation than the Nation of Israel. What an offer!! Moses was not for the idea. He considered it more honorable to give a sacrifice of Atonement and sanctify the people before God. This could only be done by a man who has been squeezed out every fleshly desires. Becoming great was not in his blood; instead, Sanctifying the Lord among the people was the heart beat of Moses. 

¹⁵ If you put all these people to death, leaving none alive, the nations who have heard this report about you will say, ¹⁶ ‘The Lord was not able to bring these people into the land he promised them on oath, so he slaughtered them in the wilderness.’

That is the disparity between us and Moses, but everything else, is a replica of what we are today. He had desires but not to be great in the manner seen by men. He wanted to be acknowledged , but not in the manner common to and with men. Moses valued the reverence accorded to God by men more than anything else. But how many times do we want to regard the reverence accorded to God by men as the most important thing; As the only thing that all our focus and energy should be projected towards.

There is no other way to be great than to make God revered and sanctified in the hearts of men. Make the Almighty sanctified in the hearts of men, then the crown of greatness shall abide with your temple. You read about Moses and you will be amazed at how he was highly regarded and even today, no one can take his place. His heart, mind and soul were devoted to making God revered in the wicked hearts of the Israel-rites.

Wherever you are serving, whoever you are serving, whenever you are serving, have this one thing in your heart; you are wired for greatness, but only achieved through making God sanctified in the hearts of men around. There is no shortcut to the real greatness. Make God revered in their hearts. Make it your priority and not an alternative or one of the many things you do as a servant of God. It is the only duty…

Matthew 28:^{20 …..}and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
This is the business, the assignment, the duty; NO shortcut to the greatness in the kingdom. God help us. The assignment was made even more clear by our Lord Jesus. Making disciples- followers of the Lord, and people with deep conviction of the Way of righteousness. A people moved by the Spirit and not the whim of the flesh. A people charged by the fear of the Lord and not caving in with fear of men. A battalion melting with reverence to God; when they that the battle belongs to God… and all victory is the Lord’s. May the Lord help us to see and perceive the way to the real greatness; for it is narrow and discovered by few. Be among the few who will see and perceive the way.

THE CONQUERORS WAY

When you are a commander of a barrack or even a camp of army, you need not have everyone rallying behind you. You do not need the mountain quaking shout of a charged army… I mean you don’t need that. I guess you are asking; ‘Then what is it that every  commander is looking when he is motivating and charging his infantry???’ Again you don’t need that. They may shout with their mouths and not from the heart but from the stomach to relieve tension and fear. It’s close to belching.

1 Samuel 14: ⁶ Jonathan said to his young armor-bearer, “Come, let’s go over to the outpost of those uncircumcised men. Perhaps the Lord will act in our behalf. Nothing can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few.”

⁷ Do all that you have in mind,” his armor-bearer said. “Go ahead; I am with you heart and soul.”

Then what do I need when I am a commander of a battalion!? Jonathan had one man by his side who said; “I am with you heart and soul.”

That is what you need; One man in the battalion standing like a stump; who will say to you even with a whisper, I am with  you  heart and soul. That alone is enough to shake off the Armour, and cause it to fall off from the shoulders of the enemy as it flees from you. But why ??? Know that the whisper of a convinced man is like a wind sweeping a field of wheat.The effect is enormous.

2 Kings 7: ⁶ for the Lord had caused the Arameans to hear the sound of chariots and horses and a great army, so that they said to one another, “Look, the king of Israel has hired the Hittite and Egyptian kings to attack us!” Wooow!! what a testimony of defeat the enemy will give as he flees into hiding. The shall cave-in with fear and anxiety Just because of the whisper of one who confirms to your convictions that,“Nothing can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few.”

Listen; don’t waste your time charging a troupe that is  discouraged; look for one who can read the victory seen in your eyes.  Look for one who will believe and soak in the shout of victory you are narrating to him; one only heard in the spiritual realms. Make armor-bearer , the man who can hear and understand thumping and pounding of victory on your chest. Stump them to watch and guard your back (¹³ Jonathan climbed up, using his hands and feet, with his armor-bearer right behind him. The Philistines fell before Jonathan, and his armor-bearer followed and killed behind him); men who can see and perceive the plunder you are about to harvest from the camp of the enemy: only seen with spiritual eyes. Have him/her carry your quiver; he who understands the heavenly principles in the battle field: Joshua 23: ¹⁰ One of you routs a thousand, because the Lord your God fights for you, just as he promised. You will win the battle when you have a one who is with you with his heart and soul. Whatever thing you set your heart to do, do it with the one who is with you in heart and soul. No short cut for advancing the kingdom of God.

Prayer: Lord of Mercy, teach the reader of this scripts and i included on how to focus our energies to where your will and grace is as we serve you. I pray that you will establish thy countenance upon everyone who seek to know you and the power that transforms all men into the likeness of Christ. Thank you because you have chatted the way for all that call upon thy name. In Jesus Name. AMEN

 

 

School of Sin

No bird goes to a flying school, no fish goes for swimming lessons – they are born with this ability (COPIED).

So is no man as a child is enrolled in a training school for sinning.

Psalms 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Romans7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. 19 For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. 20 Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.

 

This is the fallen nature of anyone born of a woman. SIN- this is the power or ability in a person that produces the sins as a the fruit. Everyone is born with the ability. That’s why you did not struggle to lie to you mother at 3years that lie. That time you were called a mischievous boy/girl.

A sinner you were at that age of your innocence. HARSH!!?? So I was and until something happened that changed me. That happening made me a new creation.

 

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Look, it is the Lamb of God who came to the aid of the fallen creation. Without him there is none that has hope of glory the was destined for the creation. As long as you have not sanctified “in your hearts…Christ as Lord.”1 Peter 3:15, you remain in the helpless status…the fallen nature.

 

There is the good news of the redeeming power in the blood of the Lamb; no wonder John exclaimed in the hearing of the scribes and the pharisees…Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

 

Here is the catch ,,,,John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: Haaaalllelujah.

Simple as saying “hello” to your friend.

Just believe and the SIN (that congenital ability) will be blot out; then by faith you… become the righteousness of God in Him (Christ).

 

2 Cor 5:21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

THE WICKED

Psalms10;4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

I have been thinking about this scripture and praying that I will not be of this camp. These are they whose conscience has been seared by Satan; made them believe so much in their ability and strengths only to forget that they are weak willed beings I their mortal bodies. Easy to succumb into their own deception and totally helpless to redeem themselves. Oooh my, what a weak man you are if you can be full of yourself and empty of the knowledge of the creator….

Well, that may have missed to communicate what I see in that scripture above; you can look at this: BUT!! you guessed right, it won’t be interesting if you are caught in the web.

The wicked man mentioned there is;

1. That man who is full of themselves and considers to engage a lady for marriage without seeking after God to know his perfect will. The world has informed their hearts and minds and become dependent on instinct and ‘likes’ and ‘differences’. God comes in the picture to stump their path. Be informed God is not Being to color your mess to appear good…ooops, pardon, perfect match as many baptize it.
2. Look, a wicked man will see his/her efforts to keep his/her marriage together. They take the place of God of receiving all the honour for his abiding grace. Evil will come their way like a flood if they don’t realize the sovereignty of the one who establishes marriages. Well, just let guards down that are self made and impersonating as self made. Just take your position of the creation and let God be the creator.
3. Don’t go looking anywhere for a wicked man, he seats just next to you; if s/he is the kind that puts a plate of food on their table and think that they did it by themselves. Their eyes have been blinded by the ‘father of lies’ not to see the love and the grace of God in the provision. They are ungrateful men 2Timothy3
4. Only a man/woman who is full of him/herself will jump into ministry and call themselves the anointed minister of the ‘Way’ without seeking the leading, appointing and placement of the owner of the vineyard and all that it bears. Heey common, seek God men, tarry there and He will establish your desires Psalms 37;4.
5. it’s only the proud man, the wicked in their perverted mind will complain and murmur when afflictions come and fail to seek after God; while they that fear the Lord will praise God as they sink into the afflictions and through to the rising. {Psamls84; 6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.
7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.}

6. Lastly, this is from the million of things that we fail to recognize the hand of the Almighty God, and his mercy therefore shutting out his exceeding love from our live… Ok, this is it, it’s only a men that is full of pride in them will assume that their families, businesses, marriages, relationships, ministry…NAME IT, stand because they have worked hard. Thy presume that its by virtual of many seminars they have attended, reading inspirational books, reading a hundred and 1 books on 5,7,10 THINGS TO DO,,,, but its not friends!! were it not that the mercy of the Almighty kept you, the foul would have destroyed you long ago. Remember you can do nothing apart from the Lord.. John 15 “…. for you can do nothing apart from me”. That’s a loving Father who forewarns you before you are full of yourself and empty of Him.

Prayer:
Lord I pray that you may heal the seared conscience that we can be sensitive to acknowledge your mercy, grace, love, kindness….everything that you are unto us. Show as thy exceeding love and forgiveness, teach us to number our days ,and be grateful every moment of our lives. In Jesus name, AMEN

DON’T QUIT

Num 11:23 The LORD answered Moses, “Is the LORD’S arm too short? You will now see whether or not what I say will come true for you.”

This is a challenge to everyone who doubts the Omnipotence of the Almighty!!

Are you thinking of quitting on waiting upon the based on the fact that He has tarried longer than you expected!!??
Don’t quit, He is just in time and never is he late. He is all powerful and mighty in deliverance.

He is saying, ‘I am the Lord you redeemer, the God of your salvation; and I will show you the way you should go.’

His hand is SURE and POWERFUL than any hope that any man with flesh and blood can assure. JUST HUNG ON a little ‘more’ with THANKFULNESS and He will LEAD you in the courts of praises.

POSITION OF GOD IN MY LIFE

Isaiah 41:10
1.Why I don’t fear is because this is what my father tells me: Fear thou not; for I am with thee.

2.Why I don’t get dismayed even when it looks like nothing is working or the tides are so high to soar above; its because My Father tells me this-Be not dismayed; for I am thy God.

3.Why I serve with my head high, and will advance in this manner even when the adversary the devil erects low obstacles to knock my head off; its because My Father says this to me- I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Glory to God. Why do you continue in the service?

LOVE

1 Corinthians13..This chapter carriers the whole Bible, according to me. LOVE rewards than anything else in the body of Christ. You do anything in the body of Christ, no matter how impacting or adorable it is: if done without ‘LOVE’,I MEAN, outside of love or in other words, love not the driving force, you gain nothing. Then my question is, what force drives you to do what you do or you long earnestly wait to do in the body of Christ and/or to the people He created!!?

Think before you invest your energy and yourself in it because your gain is nothing else but pain and a devastating miss of eternity. I desire that you Visit and fellowship with James 4:1-3, ask the right thing and not a miss. By the way, even obedience without love earns you nothing apart from pain and a tongue that curse. Search yourself and know who sits at the drivers seat in your service in the body of Christ. If anything else apart from love, you gotta cry to God that He may show grace and mercy and make your heart overflow with love.

God help me and all that seeketh thee that love shall drive us in executing duties and responsibilities in the body of Christ and to humanity.

POWER TO MAKE WEALTH

Deuteronomy 8:18
“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power [Ability] to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Just read a reflection from a friend this morning. It got me thinking about this scripture.

Allow me ask this; Why do you think you have accrued the amount of wealth you have?

Have you ever thought about the Ability you have to make that wealth? Who has given you that ability or power; be it through academic advances or naturally enabled!!

Well, Moses helps us draw the line so clear. The book of Deuteronomy (Gucukerithia Maathani) was written to a people who were fond of (LOVED TO) forgetting about “yesterday’ ” events of deliverance by the Mighty hand of God.

We are not of a different clay; of the same dust are we lest we forget!!! It is the Lord of all increase that gives us the POWER, ABILITY, APTITUDE, MASTERY, PROWESS….. (I really don’t know which word helps you understand this) to produce wealth in everything that our hands finds to do.

He does this so as to establish his covenant with us. Remember a covenant is a two way deal; you keep your end, He keeps his end of the bargain. To thousand generation he will show his deliverance, of them that loves Him.

When you pray, ask the Lord increase to give you the ability to make wealth. Don’t go out there alone!! You need his empowerment.

FATHERS

Judges 2:10 And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the Lord, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel.

When fathers Fathers fail in their responsibility of declaring the requirement of the Lord to you the heir generation, this is what happen.

There was enough time for the fathers to tell the children about Jehovah Their God and redeemer; and thus keep the command that Moses gave them-to mention the works of God passing it as a baton from generation to generation- but they failed both the heir generation and the commandment.

Why were they ignorant of the Works of the Almighty??
Their Fathers chose to keep it from the children- they chose to make the cemetery rich with the history-this cannot be retrieved even with lapse of the time assigned for the earth to tarry.

Fathers, you got a responsibility to teach the heirs the requirements of the Lord. If you want them to partake the #Kingdomly #apportioned #inheritance , Then you ought to teach them the #requirements of the Almighty,The Lord God your Redeemer.

Otherwise, you will be as good as written on the dust. Destruction and decay awaits your descendants no matter how anointed you are.
